A spring with a predetermined rate, suitable for factory boost pressure or slightly higher values, is fitted as standard. For vehicles with modifications, a stiffer spring can be used when higher boost pressure is required.<\/p>\n The actuator is designed to increase the turbocharger system\u2019s output boost pressure. Compatibility and the actual achievable boost pressure depend on the limitations of the engine management system, regardless of whether it is a factory or upgraded system.<\/p>\n The standard version uses diaphragm sealing for the internal parts, while piston sealing is also available. The piston version provides comparable performance and requires less maintenance thanks to the more durable seal construction.<\/p>\n The kit includes:<\/strong> The actuator is fitted with the standard spring as supplied. If you require the FMPACTUN spring adjustment kit, select the Diaphragm Type 2, 049 option.<\/p>\n All actuator rods are made from 303-grade stainless steel.<\/p>\n The stated spring pressures according to the colour markings apply only to the mechanical part of the system and primarily concern older turbocharged engines where pressure is not regulated through the ECU or solenoid.<\/p>\n In modern engines with regulation through the ECU or solenoid, the target boost pressure is not necessarily the same as the mechanical spring specification.
