The actuator is manufactured as a two-piece replacement from 6026 aluminium. It is available with diaphragm or piston sealing, depending on the selected version.<\/p>\n
Important:<\/strong><\/p>\n The spring pressure values listed for the individual colour markings represent the minimum regulated pressure.<\/p>\n Installing a Forge Motorsport actuator allows you to adjust and control the required boost pressure more precisely, enabling improved response and control. The product is supplied as standard with a predetermined spring suitable for the standard boost pressure or slightly above it. For vehicles with upgrades, a stronger spring can be fitted on request when higher boost pressure is required.<\/p>\n The actuator is designed to increase the boost pressure output of the turbocharger system. Compatibility cannot be guaranteed for all applications, nor can an increase in boost pressure beyond the limit determined during installation by the engine management system parameters be guaranteed, regardless of whether the system is standard or upgraded.<\/p>\n The diaphragm-sealed interior is the standard version of this actuator, while piston sealing is also available. The piston version provides comparable performance and requires less maintenance due to the durability of the piston seal.<\/p>\n The actuator is manufactured as standard with a standard spring. To use the FMPACTUN spring adjustment kit, select the version with Type 2, 049 diaphragm.<\/p>\n All actuator rods are made from 303-grade stainless steel.<\/p>\n The stated spring pressure according to the colour markings refers only to the mechanical part and applies primarily to older turbocharged engines where pressure is not electronically regulated via the ECU or solenoid valve.<\/p>\n On modern engines with regulation via the ECU or solenoid valve, the target boost pressure should not be equated with the mechanical spring specification.
