They allow more precise adjustment and control of boost pressure, which can improve turbocharger response and control.<\/p>\n<p>The actuators are made from 6026-grade aluminium, while the actuator rods are made from 303-grade stainless steel. They are supplied as standard with a spring for factory or slightly higher boost pressures; a stronger spring is also available for modified vehicles.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Pair of turbocharger actuators for the Noble M12M40<\/li>\n<li>Made from 6026-grade aluminium<\/li>\n<li>Rods made from 303-grade stainless steel<\/li>\n<li>Choice of different spring pressures<\/li>\n<li>Diaphragm or piston sealing<\/li>\n<li>Fluorosilicone diaphragms reinforced with Nomex fibres<\/li>\n<li>Laser-cut stainless steel brackets where required<\/li>\n<li>Machined and hand-polished construction<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Diaphragm sealing is the standard configuration for this actuator, while piston sealing is also available. The piston version provides comparable performance and requires less maintenance thanks to the durability of the piston seal.<\/p>\n<p>The actuator is supplied as standard with the factory spring. For the FMPACTUN spring adjustment kit, the <strong>Diaphragm Type 2, 049<\/strong> version must be selected. The designation for the T2 spring series is <strong>FMAS049<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The stated spring pressures represent the minimum regulated pressures. On older turbo engines without regulation via the ECU or a solenoid valve, they refer to the mechanical operation of the spring.
