Due to weight transfer, one side of the vehicle can experience up to three times more load than the other during fast cornering. This causes the chassis to twist or the body to deform, resulting in the tyres losing grip.<\/p>\n<p>Chassis twisting during cornering can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
