It is designed to reduce unwanted body roll and improve vehicle behaviour during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.<\/p>\n<p>The vehicle chassis is heavily loaded during dynamic driving, mainly due to the transfer of the vehicle body\u2019s weight. When cornering, load transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other, leading to significant deformation and twisting of the body and, consequently, loss of tyre grip.<\/p>\n<p>Chassis twisting during cornering can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
