The anti-roll bar helps limit body roll when driving through corners.<\/p>\n<p>The vehicle\u2019s suspension is subjected to heavy loads during fast cornering, hard braking and acceleration, mainly due to the transfer of the vehicle\u2019s weight.<\/p>\n<p>When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can lead to excessive twisting and bending of the chassis, causing the tyres to lose grip.<\/p>\n<p>Twisting and deformation of the chassis when driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
