The anti-roll bar helps limit body roll and improve vehicle responsiveness when cornering at speed.<\/p>\n<p>When cornering at speed, braking hard and accelerating, the vehicle body is subjected to high loads due to weight transfer. When driving through a corner, one side of the vehicle can be loaded up to three times more than the other, causing the body to twist and deform and consequently reducing tyre grip.<\/p>\n<p>Body roll when cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
