It is mounted at 4 mounting points.<\/p>\n<p>The chassis is exposed to heavy loads while driving, particularly due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration.<\/p>\n<p>When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to 3 times more than the other. This can result in pronounced chassis twisting, body deformation and loss of tyre grip.<\/p>\n<p>Chassis twisting and deformation during cornering can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
