This is particularly evident due to the transfer of body weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or hard acceleration.<\/p>\n<p>When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to 3 times more than the other. This results in greater loads on the body, flexing and deformation, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.<\/p>\n<p>Chassis flexing and deformation when driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
