The vehicle chassis is the part that is subjected to the greatest loads while driving. This is particularly evident due to the transfer of the body\u2019s weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.<\/p>\n

In some cases, the transfer of weight when cornering can cause one side of the vehicle to experience as much as three times more force than the other. This causes significant chassis flex, or deformation and torsion of the body, causing the tyres to lose grip.<\/p>\n
