It is designed to limit body flex and twisting during fast cornering, hard braking or acceleration.<\/p>\n<p>The chassis is heavily loaded during dynamic driving due to the transfer of the body\u2019s weight. When cornering, one side of the vehicle can experience up to 3 times more force than the other, causing greater chassis flex and twisting and consequently a loss of tyre grip.<\/p>\n<p>Excessive chassis twisting can negatively affect vehicle handling, causing understeer or oversteer, among other effects.
