This transfer of loads can cause the body to bend and twist.<\/p>\n<p>When cornering, one side of the vehicle can be subjected to loads up to 3 times greater than the other. This results in greater body deformation and loss of tyre grip.<\/p>\n<p>Chassis bending and twisting while driving through corners can cause undesirable handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
