It has 2 mounting points.<\/p>\n<p>The vehicle\u2019s chassis or bodywork is the part subjected to the greatest loads during driving. This is particularly noticeable due to the transfer of the bodywork\u2019s weight during fast cornering, heavy braking or acceleration.<\/p>\n<p>During fast cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be subjected to up to three times more force than the other. This results in greater twisting and bending of the bodywork, which can cause the tyres to lose grip.<\/p>\n<p>Twisting and deformation of the chassis during cornering can cause unwanted handling characteristics such as understeer and oversteer.
