During fast cornering, heavy braking and acceleration, the chassis is subjected to high loads caused by the transfer of the vehicle\u2019s body mass.<\/p>\n<p>When cornering, weight transfer can cause one side of the vehicle to be loaded up to three times more than the other. This can cause the body and chassis to flex, consequently resulting in reduced tyre grip.<\/p>\n<p>Chassis flex during cornering can affect the vehicle\u2019s handling and cause understeer and oversteer.
