The 3\u2033 (76 mm) \u201cVAG02\u201d Y-Style exhaust system is designed for front-wheel-drive VAG vehicles based on the 1K platform, such as the Golf 5 GTI and Golf 6 GTI. The silencers are made entirely without chambers, using an absorption design, ensuring a full and sporty sound. The system is suitable for both standard and performance-upgraded vehicles.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Technical data:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Silencer casing: polished<\/li>\n<li>Pipe surface: brushed<\/li>\n<li>Pipe diameter: 76 mm \/ 3\u2033<\/li>\n<li>Fitting hardware: all required clamps and adapters for the standard downpipe are included<\/li>\n<li>Material: stainless steel<\/li>\n<li>Recommended exhaust tips for the left\/right version: Type 2. Type 3 tips are recommended with the Scirocco R rear end.<\/li>\n<li>Exhaust tips must be selected separately and are not included.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our strongest recommendation is the <em>silencer replacement pipe + MOLI centre silencer<\/em> combination.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> Diesel models use factory-fitted pipes with a diameter of 55\u201360 mm. If you are not completely sure which diameter you require, order both available reducers; the 60 mm reducer is included as standard.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Road use:<\/strong> This exhaust system is not approved for use on public roads and is intended for motorsport use only. Legal road use requires an exhaust system version with ECE approval and an EG-approved catalytic converter.
