It is made from high-quality stainless-steel pipes with a diameter of 3.5\u2033 (89 mm). The silencers use an absorption design without chambers. The connection diameter at this point is 83 mm. A complete 89 mm system from the downpipe is not feasible because the OEM design would require it to be reduced to 76 mm, creating an unwanted restriction. This OEM section is therefore retained to achieve the full performance potential.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Models with OPF:<\/strong> The petrol particulate filter (OPF) is located underneath the vehicle and permanently integrated into the OEM exhaust system. The system is separated behind the OPF, after which the EGO-X is fitted using an adapter pipe and clamp. In rare cases where the OEM pipes are ovalised, fitting with a clamp may not be possible; the adapter pipe must then be welded. The estimated work time is approximately 15\u201320 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> With some HJS downpipes, it may be necessary to make a minor adjustment to the connection angle to the exhaust system.<\/p>\n<h3>Scope of delivery<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Exhaust system from the catalytic converter backwards<\/li>\n<li>Wiring material for connection to the vehicle electronics<\/li>\n<li>Vacuum hose for connecting the Bull-X Tronic controller to the exhaust valve<\/li>\n<li>Exhaust tips (available separately)<\/li>\n<li>Fitting instructions<\/li>\n<li>Fitting hardware<\/li>\n<li>Bull-X Tronic control unit when selecting the ECE version<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Road use:<\/strong> ECE approval applies only to the version with the Bull-X Tronic control unit with ECE approval. Legal use on public roads also requires the combination with an EG catalytic converter.
