Then this Bull-X product is an excellent place to start. The downpipe has a major influence on response and power. It forms the link between the turbocharger and the exhaust system. The larger the pipe diameter and the better the downpipe flow, the more easily the turbocharger can discharge the processed exhaust gases through the exhaust system. This has a positive effect on torque and power.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the turbocharger can discharge exhaust gases more easily, resulting in increased power;<\/li>\n<li>more torque, as the turbocharger reaches its operating speed more quickly and is not held back;<\/li>\n<li>lower exhaust gas temperature, reducing the load on the exhaust manifold and turbocharger;<\/li>\n<li>OEM-style connections make installation \u00bbplug and play\u00ab.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Road use:<\/strong> This product is not permitted for use on public roads and is intended for racing use only. Of the catalytic converters and decat pipes offered, only the HJS catalytic converter with EG approval is permitted for public-road use. All other versions are intended exclusively for racing use.<\/p>\n<h3>Catalytic converter information<\/h3>\n<p>When selecting a downpipe without a catalytic converter or with a 100\/200-cell catalytic converter, the engine control unit may register a fault from the post-cat lambda sensor. This does not affect driving, as the first lambda sensor remains in place for engine management. The post-cat sensor is used only to monitor catalytic converter efficiency. The fault can be removed by having the software recalibrated by an engine tuning specialist.<\/p>\n<p>Most vehicles up to the Euro 3 emissions standard do not have a post-cat lambda sensor, meaning installation is possible without further adjustment or a fault message. HJS ECE and EOBD catalytic converters have a significantly higher washcoat content and very high oxygen-storage capacity, which can prevent fault messages. The EOBD catalytic converters have been tested for this issue up to Euro 4. Their durability and use are also suitable up to the Euro 6 emissions standard.
