The restrictive design of the original intake funnel becomes apparent as soon as the original parts are removed.<\/p>\n<p>The airbox of the HFI intake system is made from carbon fibre and features a special DRY Pipercross performance air filter developed specifically for this system. The filter is not oiled, so it cannot damage the mass airflow sensor.<\/p>\n<p>For tuned vehicles, we also recommend using an additional heat shield for the exhaust manifold.<\/p>\n<p>An HF-Series Gen.2 intake pipe connects the airbox to the turbocharger.
