The intake is made entirely from carbon fibre, allowing it to provide very high tensile strength and rigidity. It can withstand four times the load of aluminium, is low in vibration and gas- and pressure-tight \u2013 ideal for supplying fresh air.<\/p>\n<p>The system has been specially designed for Pipercross performance air filters. The new feature is that the air filter sits transversely to the direction of airflow. This ensures that the maximum possible air mass can be drawn in.<\/p>\n<p>Development was carried out entirely in-house. Using detailed 3D scans and flow simulation, we have created optimum capability and performance combined with an incomparable induction sound.
