The intake is made entirely from carbon, ensuring very high tensile strength and rigidity. It is four times more load-resistant than aluminium, with low vibration levels and a gas- and pressure-tight design \u2013 ideal for supplying fresh air.<\/p>\n<p>The system has been specifically designed for Pipercross performance air filters. Its new feature is the air filter positioned transversely to the direction of airflow. This ensures that the maximum possible air mass can be drawn in.<\/p>\n<p>The system was developed entirely in-house. Using extensive 3D scans and flow simulations, we created optimum performance combined with an unmistakable induction sound. The HFI Carbon Air Intake Kit is suitable for the 1.4 TSI engine with Euro 6 emissions classification. It is suitable for both standard vehicles and vehicles with increased engine power.<\/p>\n<p>This intake kit replaces the complete air filter housing, including the OEM intake funnel and intake pipe.
