Our HF-Series universal intercoolers are fully hand-built and feature flow-optimised cast end tanks developed using CAD. Combined with high-performance HFT cores, they deliver maximum efficiency, whether used on road cars or in motorsport.<\/p>\n

What does an upgraded intercooler do for you?<\/h3>\n

To express the exact power increase provided by an intercooler in figures, many unknown factors have to be considered, such as factory power variation, further hardware modifications and the software used during measurement. This varies from vehicle to vehicle. As a rule of thumb, tuned engines can achieve up to 5\u201310%.<\/p>\n

Just as important is the fact that, whether the engine has already been optimised or is to remain standard in software terms, high ambient temperatures can cause a loss of performance or even trigger the temperature protection programmed into many ECUs. This allows you to rely on the full performance of your engine at all times.<\/p>\n

The intercooler was designed for the relevant vehicle, calculated using flow simulations and tested. It mounts to the original mounting points of the original OEM intercooler, so no major modifications are required. It can be installed by the customer using a well-equipped tool kit.<\/p>\n

      When tuning a vehicle\u2019s hardware or software, the factor of boost pressure loss must not be overlooked. When vehicle power is increased through chip tuning, boost pressure is also increased in 99% of cases. Using the standard intercooler causes boost pressure loss to rise exponentially. This means the turbocharger has to work harder, increasing its thermal load and reducing its service life; high engine speeds also accelerate wear.<\/p>\n
