The high-quality HFT cores provide excellent cooling performance, delivering strong performance even under demanding conditions while remaining highly robust. They offer high resistance to heat and do not warm up as much as comparable cores from other manufacturers.<\/p>\n<p>The entire system is also designed for optimum flow. This means pressure loss is minimal, while the complete charge-air route has been developed using CAD flow analyses. This differs from vehicle to vehicle. As a rule of thumb for tuned engines, an increase of up to 5\u201310 % can be expected.<\/p>\n<p>At least equally important is the fact that, at high outside temperatures, the intercooler helps prevent power loss or even activation of the temperature protection stored in many engine control units. This allows you to rely on the engine delivering its full power, whether it has already been software-tuned or remains standard.<\/p>\n<h3>Recommendation<\/h3>\n<p>We recommend using our HF-Series intercoolers together with hardware and software optimisation. Reducing back pressure, thereby relieving the turbocharger, and cooling the charge air, which increases the oxygen content in the combustion chamber and reduces thermal load, provides effective performance tuning. This makes efficient use of the potential of any turbocharged engine.<\/p>\n<p>When carrying out hardware or software tuning, charge-pressure loss must not be overlooked. If vehicle power is increased through chip tuning, charge pressure is also increased in 99% of cases. With the standard intercooler, charge-pressure loss rises exponentially.
