The high-quality HFT core provides excellent cooling properties, delivering strong performance even in demanding conditions while remaining highly robust. It offers high resistance to heat and does not heat up as much as comparable cores from other manufacturers.<\/p>\n<p>The entire system is also designed for optimum flow. This means minimal pressure loss, while the complete charge-air path was developed using CAD flow analyses. Results vary from vehicle to vehicle. As a rule of thumb for tuned engines, an increase of up to 5\u201310 % can be expected.<\/p>\n<p>What is at least as important is preventing a loss of power at high ambient temperatures, or even the activation of the temperature protection stored in many engine control units. This allows you to rely on the engine\u2019s full power, whether it has already been optimised or remains standard from a software perspective.<\/p>\n<h3>Recommendation<\/h3>\n<p>We recommend using HF-Series intercoolers in combination with hardware and software optimisation. Reducing back pressure, which relieves the turbocharger, and cooling the charge air, which increases the oxygen content in the combustion chamber while reducing thermal load, delivers effective performance tuning and makes efficient use of the potential of any turbocharged engine.<\/p>\n<p>When carrying out hardware or software tuning, charge pressure loss must not be overlooked. Increasing vehicle power through chip tuning also increases charge pressure in 99% of cases. When the standard intercooler is used, charge pressure loss rises exponentially. The turbocharger must therefore work harder, increasing its thermal load and reducing its service life; higher rotational speeds also accelerate wear.<\/p>\n<p>HF-Series intercoolers provide the ideal balance between cooling performance and charge pressure loss.
