The advantage of our system is that the back pressure is redirected directly before the throttle body. As the valve in our system is positioned after the intercooler, only cooled air is recirculated. On many engines, the standard diverter valve is positioned before the intercooler, meaning that only hot, uncooled air is recirculated.<\/p>\n<p>This high-performance silicone hose kit from Silicone Factory Hoses (not a cheap copy) is the perfect solution for preventing power losses caused by gradual damage to the standard diverter valve (bypass valve). The standard diaphragm valve is fitted in a very hot area of the engine bay.
