Their combination of design, metallurgy and engineering provides consistent support for high-performance engine applications.<\/p>\n<p>This set contains ACL Race Series rod bearings. The construction incorporates features for improved bearing retention, heat transfer and formation of a hydrodynamic oil film.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>High-strength overlay plate<\/strong> with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hardened steel backs<\/strong> for improved support of the bearing lining and better retention in the housing.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Increased crush<\/strong> for improved bearing retention in the housing.<\/li>\n<li><strong>No flash plating on the back<\/strong> for improved heat transfer and increased grip between the bearing and housing.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Increased eccentricity<\/strong> to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM and assist in forming a hydrodynamic oil film.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Suitable for:<\/strong> Vauxhall Monaro I (V2X), Vauxhall VXR8 I (VXR8).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Engines:<\/strong> LS1, LS2, LS3.
