Their design, metallurgy and engineering support consistent bearing performance.<\/p>\n<p>The set contains ACL Race Series rod bearings. The construction is designed to improve bearing retention, heat transfer and the formation of hydrodynamic oil films.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties<\/li>\n<li>Hardened steel backs for improved support of the bearing lining and bearing retention in the housing<\/li>\n<li>Increased crush for improved bearing retention<\/li>\n<li>Elimination of flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer and grip in the housing<\/li>\n<li>Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Suitable for:<\/strong> MINI Mini Clubman II (F54), MINI Mini Convertible III (F57), MINI Mini Countryman II (F60), MINI Mini III (F55) \/ III (F56).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Engines:<\/strong> B48 (B48A20). Undersizes (\u22120.25 mm, \u22120.50 mm \u2026) are for a reground crank, and \u201c+0.025 mm clearance\u201d (X) is for highly stressed engines.
