3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape PT 1100 is a four-layer black double-sided acrylic adhesive tape with very high immediate tack that was developed especially for the automotive sector and is ideally suited for mounting rigid add-on parts where an aesthetically visible edge is desired. PT1100 has very good adhesion to a variety of automotive surfaces, good internal strength, excellent long-term stability as well as very good adaptability to the surfaces to be bonded. Due to the unique viscoelastic property of PT1100, stresses in the adhesive joint are excellently dissipated, resulting in highly durable connections.

• High durability also in car washes, at high speeds and extreme temperatures and humidity as well as high shock and weather resistance
• Easy removal without damage to the headlight
• Headlight covers are made of high-quality ABS material and have a carbon look surface
• 3D carbon look and carbon surface texture and thus particularly scratch- and impact-resistant
• Due to the carbon look surface, painting is not necessary
• Material is flexible
• Comparison images – illustrations show the item without carbon surface!
