• The installation with the 3M™ tape PT 1100 is done in three simple steps:
  • Clean the surface with the included 3M cleaning cloth
  • Peel off the protective backing from the pre-cut and pre-mounted tape
  • Attach, done!

  3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape PT 1100 is a four-layer black double-sided acrylic adhesive tape with very high initial tack that was specifically developed for the automotive sector and is ideally suited for attaching rigid add-on parts where an aesthetic visible edge is desired. PT1100 has very good adhesion to a variety of automotive surfaces, good internal strength, excellent long-term stability, as well as very good adaptability to the surfaces to be bonded. Due to the unique viscoelastic property of PT1100, stresses in the adhesive joint are excellently dissipated, resulting in extremely durable connections.
