3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape PT 1100 is a four-layer black double-sided acrylic adhesive tape with very high initial tack that was specifically developed for the automotive sector and is ideally suited for attaching rigid mounting parts where an aesthetically visible edge is desired. PT1100 offers very good adhesion to a wide variety of automotive surfaces, good internal strength, excellent long-term stability, as well as very good adaptability to the surfaces to be bonded. Through the unique viscoelastic property of PT1100, stresses in the adhesive seam are excellently dissipated, resulting in extremely durable joints.
