Textile snow chains (snow socks) are a modern alternative to traditional metal chains. They are made of wear-resistant fabric and, according to the manufacturer, provide good grip on snow and ice and make driving safer in winter conditions.
Thanks to their soft construction they are quiet, light and kind to alloy wheels, which sets them apart from classic designs according to the manufacturer. They can be used on vehicles with ABS and ESP systems.
- Material: wear-resistant textile
- Colour: white
- Contents: 2 snow chains and protective gloves
- Maximum speed: 40 km/h
- Operating temperature: down to –40 °C
- Fitting: without tools
- Wheels: do not damage the rims, suitable for alloy wheels
- Reusable: can be washed and used again
- Standard: according to the manufacturer they comply with the European standard EN 16662-1
The protective gloves in the kit make fitting easier at low temperatures. The chains are intended for passenger cars, and tool-free fitting means they can be put on the tyres quickly when it suddenly starts to snow.
