ACL Race Series main bearings are tri-metal engine bearings designed for demanding conditions and higher RPM operation. The construction combines a high-strength overlay plate, consistent wall tolerances and improved bearing retention in the housing.
Increased eccentricity helps compensate for bore distortion at high RPM and assists in forming a hydrodynamic oil film. 3/4 grooved main bearings optimize bearing load-carrying surface area and oil flow to the conrod bearings.

Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
