ACL Race main bearings are tri-metal engine bearings designed for higher RPM conditions. Their construction uses a high-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness to improve fatigue properties.
Increased eccentricity compensates for bore distortion at high RPM and assists in forming hydrodynamic oil films. The main bearings feature 3/4 grooves to optimize the bearing load-carrying surface area and oil flow to the conrod bearings.
- Tri-metal construction with a high-strength overlay plate
- Increased crush for improved bearing retention in the housing
- Flash plating removed from the back for improved heat transfer and grip in the housing
- Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM
- 3/4 grooves for optimized oil flow and load-carrying surface area
- Tight, consistent wall tolerances to help maintain consistent clearances
Suitable for: Mitsubishi Carisma I (DA), Mitsubishi Colt IV (CA) / V (CJ/CP), Mitsubishi Galant VII (E5/E7/E8), Mitsubishi Lancer IV (C6/C7) / V (CB/CD) / VI (CJ/CP) / VII (CS/A), Mitsubishi Pajero Pinin I, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport I (K90), Mitsubishi Space Runner I (N1/N2), Mitsubishi Space Star I (DG/A), Mitsubishi Space Wagon II (N30) / III (N50), Proton Persona 400 I (C9C/C9S), Proton Persona I (C9M), Proton Satria I (C9M), Proton Wira I (C9L).
Engines: 4G93, 4G92, 4G94, 4G91 (4G93, 4G92, 4G91, 4G94, 4G93-T). Please check your vehicle’s engine code (registration document or VIN) before ordering; if in doubt, contact us and we will check for you.
Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
