ACL Race Series main bearings are a trimetal design for engines operating at higher RPM conditions. The combination of construction, metallurgy and engineering is intended to support the crankshaft and assist in forming a hydrodynamic oil film.
The set contains ACL Race Series main bearings. Its design includes features for improved bearing retention, heat transfer and consistent clearances.
- High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties
- Increased crush for improved bearing retention in the housing
- Flash plating eliminated on the back for improved heat transfer and grip between the bearing and its housing
- Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM
- 3/4-grooved main bearings to optimize bearing load-carrying surface area and oil flow
- Tight, consistent wall tolerances to help maintain consistent clearances
Suitable for: Ford Corsair I, Nissan 200SX I (S13), Nissan Bluebird I (T72/T12/U12), Nissan Pintara I (U12), Nissan Silvia II (S12).
Engines: CA20E, CA18DET, CA16, CA20S, CA18ET, CA16DE, CA18DE, CA18, CD20T, CD17, CD20 (NISSANCA20E, CA18DET, CA16, CA20S, CA20E, CA18ET, CA16DE, CA18DE, CA18, CD20-T, CD17, CD20). Please check your vehicle’s engine code (registration document or VIN) before ordering; if in doubt, contact us and we will check for you.
Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
