ACL Race main bearings for Toyota 2AZ-FE / 1AZ-FE / 2AZ-FXE

ACL Race main bearings are trimetal engine bearings developed for higher engine RPM. Their combination of construction, metallurgy and engineering improves fatigue resistance and bearing retention in the housing.

The set is designed to support consistent clearances and efficient oil flow to the rod bearings. It includes an ACL Race Series main bearing set.

• High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties
• Increased crush for improved bearing retention in the housing
• Elimination of flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer and stronger grip between the bearing and housing
• Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM and assist hydrodynamic oil film formation
• 3/4-grooved main bearings to optimize bearing load-carrying surface area and oil flow
• Tight, consistent wall tolerances to help maintain consistent clearances

Sizes

STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
