ACL Race main bearings for Toyota 2GR-FE

ACL Race main bearings for Toyota 2GR-FE use a trimetal construction developed for higher engine loads and increased RPM conditions.

The design combines a high-strength overlay, increased eccentricity and tight, consistent wall tolerances for stable clearances and the formation of hydrodynamic oil films.

• High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties
• Increased crush for improved bearing retention in the housing
• Elimination of flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer and increased grip in the housing
• Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM
• 3/4 grooved main bearings to optimize load-carrying surface area and oil flow to the connecting rod bearings

Sizes

STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
