ACL Race rod bearings with Calico CT-1 use a dry film lubricant coating that helps reduce friction and abrasive wear. The coating provides intermittent dry lubrication and is not affected by dust or dirt.
CT-1 is engineered for the demanding conditions of high-performance engines. Its thin coating accommodates assembly constraints while providing resistance to chemicals, corrosion, oil and fuel.
- Calico CT-1 coating with a low coefficient of friction
- Typical engine-bearing coating thickness: 0.00025–0.00030 inch or 6–7.5 microns
- Increased corrosion protection and lubricity
- Improved embedability allows debris to embed in the bearing and helps avoid crankshaft damage
- Protection against intermittent oil starvation
- Oil temperature reduction of up to 8–11 °C has been demonstrated
Suitable for: Nissan 100NX I (B13), Nissan 200SX I (S13).
Engines: SR20DET, SR20DE. Please check your vehicle’s engine code (registration document or VIN) before ordering; if in doubt, contact us and we will check for you.
Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
