ACL Race rod bearings are trimetal engine bearings designed for operation at higher RPM. Their combination of design, metallurgy and engineering improves bearing lining support and bearing retention in the housing.
The set includes ACL Race Series rod bearings. The construction features increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM and assist in forming hydrodynamic oil films.

- Hardened steel backs for improved support of the bearing lining and bearing retention in the housing.
- Increased crush for improved bearing retention.
- Elimination of flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer and increased grip in the housing.

Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
