ACL Race rod bearings for Honda B18C are trimetal engine bearings designed for demanding conditions and higher engine RPM. Their combination of design, metallurgy and engineering improves bearing lining support and bearing retention in the housing.
The construction is designed to help maintain consistent clearances, improve heat transfer and support the formation of hydrodynamic oil films. The set includes ACL Race Series rod bearings.
- High-strength overlay plate: reduced thickness improves fatigue properties.
- Hardened steel backs: improve support of the bearing lining and bearing retention in the housing.
- Increased crush: improves bearing retention in the housing.
- No flash plating on the back: improves heat transfer and maximizes grip between the bearings and their housing.
- Increased eccentricity: compensates for bore distortion and assists in forming hydrodynamic oil films.
- Tight, consistent wall tolerances: help maintain consistent clearances.
Suitable for: Honda Integra COUPE (DC).
Engines: B18C (B18C1, B18C2, B18C7). Please check your vehicle’s engine code (registration document or VIN) before ordering; if in doubt, contact us and we will check for you.
Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
