ACL Race Series rod bearings are tri-metal engine bearings designed for high-RPM applications. Their construction is intended to withstand higher RPM conditions and increased operating loads.
The bearings use steel backs, increased crush and increased eccentricity to improve retention in the housing and assist in forming hydrodynamic oil films. The set is intended for connecting rods.
- High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties
- Hardened steel backs on all rod bearings
- Elimination of flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer and grip in the housing
- Increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM
- Tight, consistent wall tolerances to help maintain consistent clearances
- ACL Race Series rod bearing set

Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
