ACL Race rod bearings are trimetal engine bearings designed for higher RPM conditions. Their combination of design, metallurgy and engineering supports demanding high-performance engine use.
The set includes ACL Race Series rod bearings with features that improve heat transfer, bearing retention in the housing and the formation of hydrodynamic oil films.
- High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties
- Hardened steel backs for improved support of the bearing lining and bearing retention
- Increased crush for improved bearing retention
- Elimination of flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer and housing grip
- Tight, consistent wall tolerances to help maintain consistent clearances

Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
