ACL Race rod bearings for Mitsubishi 4G94 use a trimetal construction for demanding operating conditions and higher engine speeds. The design combines a high-strength overlay plate with hardened steel backs to improve bearing lining support and retention in the housing.
Increased eccentricity assists the formation of a hydrodynamic oil film, while tight wall tolerances help maintain consistent clearances. The set is available in different clearance configurations.
- Trimetal construction for high-performance engines
- High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness
- Hardened steel backs on the rod bearings
- Increased crush for improved bearing retention
- Elimination of flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer
- Increased eccentricity to assist hydrodynamic oil film formation
Suitable for: Mitsubishi Lancer VII (CS/A), Mitsubishi Pajero Pinin I.
Engines: 4G94. Please check your vehicle’s engine code (registration document or VIN) before ordering; if in doubt, contact us and we will check for you.
Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
