ACL Race Series rod bearings are trimetal engine bearings designed for operation at higher RPM. Their combination of design, metallurgy and engineering improves bearing lining support and bearing retention in the housing.
The construction uses a reduced-thickness overlay plate, increased eccentricity to compensate for bore distortion at high RPM, and tight, consistent wall tolerances for consistent clearances.
- High-strength overlay plate with reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties
- Hardened steel backs for improved support of the bearing lining and retention in the housing
- Increased crush for improved bearing retention
- No flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer and grip between the bearing and housing
- Increased eccentricity to assist in the formation of hydrodynamic oil films
Suitable for: Nissan 200SX I (S13).
Engines: SR20DET. Please check your vehicle’s engine code (registration document or VIN) before ordering; if in doubt, contact us and we will check for you.
Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
