ACL Race Series are trimetal rod bearings designed for higher RPM conditions. The combination of design, metallurgy and engineering is suited to the demands of high-performance engines.
The rod bearing set uses steel backs to support the bearing lining and assist with retention in the housing. Increased eccentricity helps with the formation of hydrodynamic oil films at high RPM.

Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
