ACL Race Series are high-performance trimetal rod bearings developed for higher engine RPM conditions. Their combination of design, metallurgy and engineering provides the support required for demanding engine use.
Hardened steel backs improve support for the bearing lining and assist with bearing retention in the housing. Increased eccentricity helps compensate for bore distortion at high RPM and assists in forming a hydrodynamic oil film.
- Trimetal construction with a high-strength overlay plate of reduced thickness for improved fatigue properties
- Hardened steel backs on all rod bearings
- Increased crush for improved bearing retention in the housing
- No flash plating on the back for improved heat transfer and increased grip between the bearing and housing
- Tight, consistent wall tolerances to help maintain consistent clearances
- Rod bearing set ACL Race Series

Please check your vehicle’s engine code (registration document or VIN) before ordering; if in doubt, contact us and we will check for you.
Sizes
STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
