ACL Race rod bearings for Volvo B234

ACL Race rod bearings are trimetal engine bearings designed for higher-RPM conditions. Their construction combines a high-strength overlay plate, hardened steel backs and increased crush for improved bearing retention in the housing.

The set is designed to help maintain consistent clearances and improve heat transfer through the bearings. Increased eccentricity compensates for bore distortion at high RPM and assists in forming hydrodynamic oil films.

Sizes

STD is the standard size for an unground crankshaft. Undersizes (−0.25 mm, −0.50 mm …) are for a reground crank, and “+0.025 mm clearance” (X) is for highly stressed engines. Your machine shop chooses the size after measuring.
