BULL-X Exhausts produces downpipes to the highest standard, including this Bull-X stainless steel downpipe for Mercedes 205 models. The downpipe’s higher flow rate delivers increased performance, sharper throttle response, lower exhaust gas temperatures and a sportier sound. It is suitable for standard and performance-tuned vehicles.

Road use: This product and all listed catalytic-converter versions have no approval for public-road use on Mercedes-Benz W205 models. The HJS ECE sports catalytic converter also has no vehicle-specific approval for the Mercedes-Benz W205, as its test marking is not assigned to these models. All versions are intended exclusively for racing use.
Note: When using the downpipe without a catalytic converter or with a 100- or 200-cell catalytic converter, the ECU may report a fault from the post-cat lambda sensor. This does not restrict driving, as the first lambda sensor remains in place for engine management, while the post-cat sensor only monitors catalytic-converter efficiency. The fault can be removed by having the software adjusted by a tuning specialist. Most vehicles up to Euro 3 emissions standard do not have a post-cat lambda sensor, allowing installation without further adjustment or a fault warning.
HJS ECE and EOBD catalytic converters have a considerably higher washcoat content and very high oxygen-storage capacity, which can prevent fault messages. The EOBD catalytic converters have been tested for this purpose up to Euro 4. Their durability and use are suitable up to Euro 6 emissions standard. On Euro 5/6 vehicles, the issues described above can only be avoided by selecting an ECE catalytic converter.
