Bull-X catalyst replacement pipe for Audi RS3 8V/8Y, TTRS 8S quattro 400 PS

By optimising the diameter, pipe routing and catalytic converter, the turbocharger can be relieved considerably. The complex design has a technical purpose: it provides lower exhaust back pressure and therefore less heat build-up in the turbocharger. Unlike simple designs with a tight bend directly after the turbocharger outlet, this design provides improved flow. Flow analyses have shown that, despite the missing catalytic converter, a tight bend can create greater back pressure than this design.

Only the casting process made it possible to achieve the absolute maximum flow and eliminate disruptive transitions along the inside of the downpipe. Lower back pressure and reduced thermal load provide a clear increase in torque, power and earlier turbocharger response, while also helping to extend service life.
