Bull-X catalyst replacement pipe for Audi RS3 8V quattro 367 PS

The HG Motorsport Pre Cat Eliminator (catalyst replacement pipe) can be used as a 100% replacement for the standard part. Precise fitment and high-quality materials allow straightforward installation. Optimising the diameter, pipe routing and/or catalytic converter can significantly reduce the load on the turbocharger.

The complex design has a technical purpose: it reduces exhaust back pressure and therefore heat build-up in the turbocharger. Unlike simple designs with a tight bend directly after the turbocharger outlet, this pipe provides improved flow. Flow analyses have shown that, despite the absence of a catalytic converter, a tight bend can create greater back pressure than this design.

The cast bend is the only way to achieve the absolute maximum flow and avoid disruptive transitions along the inside of the downpipe. Reduced back pressure and thermal relief provide a noticeable increase in torque and power, earlier response and, at the same time, improved service life.
