3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape PT 1100 is a 4-layer black double-sided acrylic adhesive tape with very high immediate bonding strength that was developed especially for the automotive sector and is ideal for mounting rigid add-on parts where an aesthetically visible edge is desired. PT 1100 has very good adhesion to a wide range of automotive surfaces, good internal strength, excellent long-term stability as well as very good adaptability to the surfaces to be bonded. Due to the unique viscoelastic property of PT 1100, stresses in the adhesive seam are admirably dissipated, so that extremely durable connections are created.
