3M™ Acrylic Plus Adhesive Tape PT 1100 is a four-layer black double-sided acrylic adhesive tape with very high initial tack that was specially developed for the automotive sector and is ideally suited for fastening rigid add-on parts where an aesthetically visible edge is desired. PT 1100 features very good adhesion to a variety of automotive surfaces, good internal strength, excellent long-term stability, and very good adaptability to the surfaces to be bonded. Through the unique viscoelastic property of PT 1100 stresses in the adhesive joint are very well dissipated, resulting in highly durable joints.
